The Journal of National Law University Delhi (JNLUD) is the flagship, double-blind peer-reviewed journal of National Law University Delhi. It publishes original articles across all branches of law and invites contributions from academicians and professionals to engage in multidisciplinary legal discussions.
Submission Guidelines
- Authorship:
- Co-authorship is allowed for up to three authors.
- Open to academicians, professionals, and doctoral researchers.
- Word Count:
- Short Articles: 6,000–8,000 words
- Long Articles: 8,000–10,000 words
- Notes and Comments: Less than 5,000 words
- Book Reviews: 2,500 words
- Word counts include footnotes.
- Format and Citation:
- Font: Times Roman, Size 12 (Main Text), Size 10 (Footnotes)
- Spacing: 1.5 for text, 1.0 for footnotes
- Citation style must follow OSCOLA (4th edition)
- Include an abstract (max 300 words) and 5 keywords with each submission (except Book Reviews).
- Submissions must be anonymous for peer review and provided in MS-Word format.
- High-quality figures should be submitted in preferred file formats (EPS, PS, JPEG, TIFF).
Review Process
- The review process consists of desk review and double-blind peer review.
- A publication decision is typically communicated within 12–15 weeks after submission.
Open Access
- JNLUD adheres to the Open Access Policy, and all content is freely available on the journal’s website.
- All published content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY).
Editorial Policy
- Only original and unpublished work will be considered.
- Plagiarized manuscripts will be rejected.
- Undergraduate and postgraduate students are encouraged to submit to the NLUD Journal of Legal Studies.
- No submission fees, publication fees, or page charges are required.
